For the Love of Oceans

Protecting oceans, one towel at a time

This campaign combined storytelling, sustainable merchandise, and marine conservation. Focused on SDG 14, it raised awareness on ocean protection, encouraging beachgoers to reduce marine pollution (14.1) and supporting ecosystem restoration (14.2). Each branded towel contributed to CRAM (turtle rescue in Spain) and Whale Wise (whale protection in Iceland). Shared across Europe, it served as a seasonal promo and corporate gift—driving donations, awareness, and emotional brand engagement.

This campaign was a collaborative effort between Zinc Germany’s Sustainability and Product teams, developed closely by Anja and Valeria. Siemens, with key input from Tanja, played an active role in shaping and championing the campaign from the start. The final visual identity was brought to life by our designer Casper, whose creative work gave the project its emotional and aesthetic strength.
